Select Start

 > Mail to open Mail for Windows 10.

 If you log on to Windows 10 using a Microsoft account with an Outlook.com, Live, Hotmail, or MSN address, that account is automatically added to the Mail app for you!

• Want to change your password? To change your password for any of your email accounts, you’ll have to go to the individual email apps.
• AOL and Verizon customers: Make sure your encryption settings are set to SSL, SSL/TLS, or Auto and notTLS only.
• Account out of date? You probably need to update your account settings.

Quick setup

If this is the first time you’ve opened Mail for Windows 10, click Add account to get started.

If you’ve opened Mail before, go to the bottom of the folder pane and select Settings

 > Manage Accounts.

Select Add account.

Choose the type of the account you want to add. Scroll to see all options.

Enter your email address, password, and account name or other required information. The account name is what you’ll see in the left pane of Mail for Windows 10.

Click Done.
